Main Guest Speaker: Did not present this evening since Planning Commission did not approve the Emerald Isle project today.

Treasury Report:
$8,005.50 Current balance in new account.
$50.00 of old account will be transferred to new account soon once the old account is closed.
Expenditures over past couple of years have stayed steady, slightly more spent on membership drives which resulted in higher memberships.
More expenditures on Block Party.
Trying to earmark money for crime watch program and police patrols.
Trying to earmark money for Gateway sign off Athlone entrance.
Trying to earmark money for Galway Circle Mowmentum project.
More money will be spent for maintaining other public areas.
Currently $2000.00 short of where we need to be for this year’s expenditures.
Block Party:
- Held this May, moved from July.
Crime Watch:
Delivered by Rory Yocum. Advice on contacting police for suspicious activity. Example by Richard Fleming on recent suspicious activity in neighborhood and reporting it to police department. Police Department urge people to contact police to be safe.
Membership Dues:
$30 yearly membership due to trying to get hours of off-duty police patrol for our neighborhood in conjunction with Monopoly Place.
Incorporation Update:
Incorporation complete
Filing for 501c3 for non-profit status of organization
Galway Circle:
- In progress still, taking longer due to technical complications and paperwork.
Waterford Circle maintenance:
- Ask for volunteers to help maintain Waterford Circle
Casa Linda Shopping Center:
- Bought out by new
- Mid May architectural renderings should be ready
Bond Package:
- Bonds will be sold in May for erosion control.
- Jobs still need to be bid out to contractors.
- Looking at about 6 months before any real activity towards repairing the erosion on Galway.
- Total creek is supposed to be reinforced with rock from Garland Rd. to ???

White Rock Festival and Home Tour:
- Doubled amount of money this year and tripled number of people in attendance.
Bobcat spotted on Garland road which was hit recently on Garland Road crossing towards our neighborhood.
Foxes spotted within the neighborhood as well
Casa Linda Cafeteria:
- They are cleaning and remodeling to have a new Highland Park Cafeteria.
Large dogs need to be leashed. Advised to call 311 to report dogs without leashes in the neighborhood.
Open Comments:
- Buckner/Garland Intersection – Project delayed, Scot Williams gave update at December meeting. Don’t have current status update.
