VIP Program:
- Began patrolling Feb 11th, 14 patrols completed, about 3 per week.
- There is some over growth of vegetation in some alleyways, preventing easy access for cars. (Between Bridget and Tipperary specifically).
o Suggested that notice be put in newsletter asking homeowners to trim overgrowth in alleys behind houses
o Offer to get volunteers to assist with trimming back growth

Events:
- April Board Meeting April 23rd, 7:00PM at Another Broken Egg, Mark will talk to owner to arrange.
o Aren will coordinate with local police to have a spokesman for meeting
- May Block Party:
o May 9th, 2009.
o Aren is getting checklist from Kathy Renaud to put block party together.
o Aren will check with Elizabeth Howard to see if she wants to organize it.
o Also suggested to leverage Mom’s Group to see if they want to organize it.
o Aren will arrange for “Crawford and McAdams” as the band for party.
Projects:
- Crime Camera – Met at local security company to look at their IP based cameras.
o Validated our goal of starting smaller with the Vivotek cameras to get the program started
o Over time, the more expensive cameras can be located at key intersections
- Waterford Circle – landscaping updates completed. Thanks to all who assisted
- Neighborhood Directory – Gary, Sheryl, Nancy and Aren met 3 weeks ago to review and discuss.
o Aren is putting together a membership drive form requesting the following information:
§ Neighborhood Directory
§ Business Directory: Business Name, URL, phone #, etc…
§ Crime Watch information: Car Make/Model, License Plate, etc…
§ Sheryl Perier will help design the layout of the directory
- Membership Drive – Need to kick off very soon
o Recommend same method from previous year of personal touch of each house.
Membership and Treasury:
- Current Balance: $8,000.00
- Waterford Circle have been latest large expenditures
Newsletter:
- No recent revenue from ads in newsletter.
- Ads with no recent payment will be pulled from newsletter this quarter.
New website is up and operational.
Suggested to have a small consensus of people in neighborhood to suggest a small sticker for LPENA vehicles to help with Crime Watch efforts.
