January Quarterly Meeting:

Garland Buckner:
Traffic congestion options will have to paid for by LPENA. Road closures are $2,100 + materials.
No thru traffic signs/no right turns and temporary road closed suggested as first start - Aren looking into it.

Graffiti abatement Refund:
Neighbor paid to have graffiti covered up and now asking for refund.
Board says no refunds for something that hasn't been voted upon.

501C4:
Application turned in, will hear back 6-9months.
Donations cannot be written off but LPENA will not pay taxes on purchases.

Casa Linda Area Improvement Association: East Dallas, east of WRL.
Aren putting feelers out to all area neighborhood association president and crime watch people. Aren doing this as an individual, not as representative of LPENA.

Nominations Committee: Elections in April

Crime Watch:
1 major break in in last month.

Treasurer Report:
Gary called everyone that had given checks months ago that had not been deposited.

White Rock Lake Task Force Update:
White Rock Lake Conservancy board forming - to raise funds for WRL
Proposed Prescribed Burn at prairie in early Feb/late March
Spillway construction begin May and last 16 months
West Lawther Hike/Bike Trail - redoing boat launch, parking lot at
Fisher Rd. w/ lights, new bridge at Chapel Hill, new lake overlook at
Fisher Rd., temporary dam at Jackson Point to reroute trail to lakeside of parking, new water fountains, dog bowls, picnic areas and benches
Temporary disc golf course at flag pole hill proposed by Dallas Disc Golf Assocation
