Events
- Fall Picnic Recap
o Very good event, thanks to all who attended
o Attendance was light. Make note to get flyers out earlier next year. Some discussion on optimal weekend, but decided to leave it at date scheduled
- Christmas Lights Contest
o Ann Allen volunteered to head this up. Aren will coordinate with her
- Movie Night
o Scheduled for weekend of 29th. Working through movie title suggestions
o Get flyer out early, Robert will put flyer together.
o Order pizza and get hot chocolate and egg nog.
o Will will take care of pizza from Lovers
Projects
- VIP leader
o Strong possibility on a candidate for this position.

o I’ll schedule a meeting for this
- Beautification
o Ann Allen looked at the Pecan tree in Galway Circle and didn’t seem alarmed over the leaning tree
o Waterford Circle: Mid-January target dates for clean up and replanting.
Administration
- Nominations Committee
o Would like 1 board member and 2 non-board member to make up the committee
o January meeting we will put committee together.
- Membership Drive
o March 2009 begin next membership drive
o Suggest door-to-door campaign again
o Goal: Exceed 50% membership
- December Board Meeting
o Proposed to cancel December board meeting in lieu of email distribution
External Affairs: Dixon Branch Meeting for Flood Plain Meeting

- $300.00 contribution made by LPENA to the Garland Road Vision Study, Susan Enarson member of the study.
- Membership – Minimal updates to membership
- Lovers Pizza payment – no news yet from them. Talk to Bennie about deducting the amount from our Movie Night pizza order.
Other Business:
- Traffic Counters went up on Galway for the cut-through traffic due to construction.
- Aren contacted DOT to get results, still waiting for reply.
- Official motion to investigate speed humps on Galway Drive. Will White will take lead on investigating what we need to do.
- Membership Directory – Sheryl Perrier has volunteered to chair the LPENA Directory committee. This will start in January.
