7:36 pm meeting called to order.

Block Party:

• Will White printing fliers…on color paper, please!  “Bring dessert” added to flyer.
• Inclement weather date July 29.
• Rory asking Albertson’s donate 3 cases water, 3 cases soda, 50 pounds ice, piñata, and candy.
• *All donations will be recorded in next newsletter.
• Kathy getting bounce house.
• Rory checking w/ Cindy for face painting – Aren making calls for back up.
• Aren inviting: fire and police departments, other neighborhood association and Gary Griffith.
• Aren getting trash cans from neighbors
• Membership forms at party

Surveillance Cameras:

• Aren sending email to neighbors proposing surveillance committee and asking for chair and members.
• Project expected to be in multiple phases.
• Rory to check on cost of creating and mounting signs.

Cell Phone Signals:

• Aren contacting neighbors to find problem areas etc. and planning to write letter to cell companies signed by LPENA and other neighborhood assoc.

Drainage Problems:

• Gary Griffith committed to help, neighbors need to continue to contact him about fixing the problems

Emerald Isle Project:

• Neighborhood vote taken at next general meeting – not July 22 block party.

Alley Cleanup:

• Board of LPENA interested in clean-up, Aren contacting Gary Griffith to keep us updated.

LPENA supports Little Forest Hills Conservation District, Aren writing a letter of support.

Rory reported on Albertson’s meeting. Kevin Reagan new manager. More full time employees, more national brands, more organic food. No more “ten for ten” and overloaded endcaps – more aisle space. Wants to compete w/ Tom Thumb on customer service, compete w/ Wal-Mart on pricing.
